Curbside Compost FAQs
How does curbside compost pickup work?
It's simple: when you sign up, we drop a bucket and compostable bucket liner bags off at your home. On compost pickup day, put your bucket of food scraps by your curb. We will pick it up and leave a clean bucket for you.
What can I compost with you?
You can compost all food scraps, including meat and bones. You can also compost paper napkins, paper towels, and any product with a "compostable" symbol.
Are bags of compost included?
We do not offer compost with our services. If you are looking for high-quality compost for your garden, we recommend Hoffman Composting.
Who will be picking up the buckets at my house?
We are a two-person team and a family-run business. Roland usually does the pickups, but Sarah steps in when needed.
What about other parts of the Tri-Cities?
We do not offer curbside compost pickup in Bristol, Kingsport, or other parts of the Tri-Cities (yet!). If you are interested, please contact us. We will add you to our waitlist and let you know if we expand our service area!
